Paws & Ponds is an event designed for dog owners to be able to bring their pups out to socialize and have a fun day of exploring, playing, and splashing around in Pond Country’s outdoor pond gallery featuring over 15 ponds including three giant natural swimming ponds. Learn how a backyard koi pond is not only great for your pet to play in, but lots of relaxing entertainment for the entire family.
It’s a great way to socialize your dog and if your dog is less inclined to play with others, we have smaller ponds in other sections of our gallery where they enjoy a little more peace & quiet. Don’t worry — the pond fish are used to dogs and aren’t bothered at all with the splashing. Some of our fish are so comfortable, they might even come up to your dog for a friendly nose boop!
For the safety of other dogs & attendees, we ask that all dogs be on a leash at all times when roaming the site.
Important Parking Information!
In order to help with site access and parking, we will have all attendees park in the Cheerwine facility lot that is immediately next door. There is a short walking path directly connected to Pond Country that enters at our large natural swimming pond display.
• From I-40, take Sandy Ridge Rd towards Piedmont Triad Farmers Market.
• Drive past Pond Country on your right and take a right into the Cheerwine driveway that has the giant Cheerwine chair out front.
• Continue down the path and a staff member will guide you into the parking area.
• To enter Pond Country, just take the small path (in map below) and you will see the large swimming pond & waterfall upon entering. See map below:
