Pond❤︎Love Community
Providing visual comfort to area families & loved ones during end of life hospice care
In 2023, Pond Country started a new charity, Pond❤︎Love, for those approaching end-of-life and their families at local hospice palliative-care facilities.
Each year, Pond Country will partner with a local hospice to design & construct a beautiful new water feature that will provide visual comfort for both patients & their families during a difficult time.

Mountain Valley Hospice (Dobson, NC)
Since 1983, Mountain Valley Hospice has been providing the highest level of compassionate, quality hospice and palliative care for those who are facing a serious illness. Staff members aid patients and their families in making informed choices for the management of pain symptoms and the support of specially-trained caregivers. This allows families to spend more quality time with loved ones and do the things that are most important to them.
The 2024 project features twin pondless Infinity Waterfalls at the entrance to the Joan & Howard Woltz Hospice Home. See below for a video showcasing the project’s entirety plus rendered model designs for this project.

Pond❤︎Love is an annual event dedicated to celebrating our deep connections and compassion utilizing water with those in need at a very trying time.
Pond Country will match all donations up to $10,000 for the completion of this project. All donations to Pond❤︎Love are tax deductible and deposited directly to the partnered hospice.

Hospice care holds a special place to Pond Country staff members. Pond Country marketing director, Grayson Shuler, was assisted by area hospice care workers & facilities during both of his parents’ illnesses. He recently lost his mother, Hazel Shuler, to cancer and hospice provided both appreciated delicate care & comfort for his mother’s final days. Hospice also provided needed grief counseling and added support for the family in the months afterwards.
